What is GM and why does it matter?
Join the GM Freeze Management Committee
We are looking for one or two committed individuals to be co-opted to the GM Freeze Management Committee (Board of Directors).
GM Freeze campaigns for a moratorium on GM in UK food and farming because we want our food to be produced responsibly, fairly and sustainably. We need people who are committed to our aims and are willing to share their knowledge, ideas and experience. In exchange, we offer experience in working at a governance level and the chance to learn from a very varied group of colleagues.
We are particularly interested in recruiting committee members with:
- Hands-on experience of farming and food production
- Knowledge of employment law and HR procedures
- Knowledge of the processes involved in developing EU and UK agricultural policies
Committee meetings take place 4-6 times a year, in office hours, usually in London.
Closing date: Monday 14 November, 2016
