The GM Freeze campaign brings together individuals and organisations who share the public's deep concern about genetic engineering in food and farming. Some believe there is no place for the technology in our countryside and on our plates - others think it could bring benefits as long as it can be properly regulated and the consumer is offered genuine choice. The thing that unites them all is the immediate need to stop and consider the massive social, economic and environmental effects worldwide.

Our Management Committee includes representatives from The Soil Association, Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland, GeneWatch UK, EcoNexus, GM Free Cymru, FARM, GM Free Dorset and the Organic Research Centre at Elm Farm.
