GM Freeze’s submission to the Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee regarding the draft Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Regulations 2025.
GM Freeze placed on record serious concerns about the draft Regulations, which were laid before Parliament on the 25th February. We urged the SLSC to draw deficiencies in the legislation to the special attention of the House of Lords.
New law will impose untested - and unlabelled - GMOs on the entire UK food chain.
